Another reader said this error of judgment on Zeman's part far surpasses any of his other diplomatic faux pas and seriously threatens the CR's economic interests in the Arab world and could perhaps lead to terrorist attacks on Prague. In any event, the reader said, Zeman's hopes of becoming President were shattered because the EU will make it clear to the Czech political establishment that it doesn't consider him reliable.
